    Stun Spore is an excellent move (20 damage and chance of stun-locking) for only 2 grass. Caterpie is also cheap and hits hard with its 1 grass string shot (10 damage + paralysis) so they are excellent choices if you can flip heads. Another great cheap grass choice is Nidoran♀ who has a surmountable 60 hp for a basic pokemon, and her 1 grass fury swipes (3 coins x 10 damage per head) is brutal.

    Or you can use the king of cheap paralysis: If your enemy isn't using any rock/fighting pokemon, add 4 Lickitungs to your deck! A WHOPPING 90 HP and any energy card for its 10 damage + paralysis chance, it's one of the most obnoxious basic pokemon cards xD

    A long time ago when I got the actual game cartridge and played it on my game boy "brick" (the original game boys were big blocks of plastic) and beat it. It got me super interested in cards and deckbuilding. Only recently got the video game again on my 3DS though.
