    true but seeing how gary and blue/green are in nintendo eyes the same character and only thing that is pretty much the same as he was in the game. Plus I can see them putting elements of the anime and the game into his smash character.

    The Anime is not cannon to the Games, if it was, then Red would be in the same world as Ash, Prof. Oak would have 2 nephews, both Blue and Lance would be Champions (Lance being the Champion in the Anime according to Bulbapedia) and more complicated things

    Yeah they both start out at the same but went down different paths. Blue after losing his champion title after one match became a gym leader even that could of become a member of the Elite 4. Gary still 10 year old retired from being a trailer after losing to Ash is now studying to be a Professor like his Grandfather (I might be wrong about that)

    Well, you say that Blue and Gary are the same person, but that can't be possible, 1: Gary has brown hair, Blue has blond 2: Blue went on to be the Viridian Gym Leader, as Gary did something else 3: Blue had 8 badges, and Gary had 10 for some reason (I think he cheated) 4: Gary's rival is Ash, and Blue's rival is Red, and I swear if anyone says "Ash is Red" I will just quit Miiverse

    its pretty much why dr mario isnt mario mario or paper mario. im just saying that they share enough characteristics to be known to be the same character just copy and pasted over to the anime universe. Its the same as spiderman being in marvel 616 universe and also being in the marvel manga universe, same character but just put in different a universe.
