Do you hate or love Brawl?
I've been playing Brawl for awhile, I think it's great for competitive play for beginners. It has exclusive characters like Solid Snake, Wolf, Squirtle, and Ivysuar.

2) It was fast and exciting. Brawl and Smash 4 both are like the Yin and Yang of the combination, each supporting one of those points. Brawl was an incredible deep and complicated game to play at top level, but it was painfuly slow. Not many Melee plauers like to admit this, but Brawl had a plethora of advanced techniques, exploits, and strategies. What turned people away was the fact that

matches took way too long and were borong to watch. On the other hand, Smash 4 is alnost the exact opposite to this. Because it is a very young game and a very refined game, Smash 4 is incredibly simple at top level play conpared to Melee and Brawl. In those two games, in any given situation, a character might have a minimum of 50 differnet movement, offensive, or defensive option where as in

Smash 4, under the same circumstances, a character might only have a maximum of 10. But because Smash 4 is much faster and has some combos (which are rather boring and stagnant imo), it is more appealing and exciting to watch.

I've always been indifferent to Brawl, it has some good parts but it also has some very slow and boring parts. I do prefer Melee and 4 though, so I might be a bit biased.

I love brawl, but i feel the balance should have been updated like smash 4, wii was certainly capable of updates, but nintendo didn't care enough back then. I plan to exploit an SD card and the stage builder to make my own build

Well the Subspace Emissary was fun to play at first, but why not cut it out and focus more on the fighting mechanics, balancing characters like Meta Knight, maybe could of had more character slots, and more freedom and less restrictions in stage builder? Competitive matches take too long? Best of 2 out of 3, If it's 2 stock and 6 Minutes it's too short, if its 3 stock and 8 Minutes its too long.

Why cut out the Subspace Emissary? Because people looooove Smash Tour, apparently.

I miss edge hogging, using invincibility frames to stall the entire match, and to prevent others from recovering was fun. Whats funny is that you can't recover if your under a diagonal wall of the stage, it's proof they didn't play test Brawl, or have they? I know why they have tripping added in, its to slow down the game, more emphasis on aerial game, to stop dash dancing, and spammed dash attack

I think I should of gotten a New 3DS, but I have a 3DS XL already now. It's like a slap to the face of Nintendo gamers, why couldn't Nintendo made their first 3DS to be strong as the new 3DS? Like who's going to develope new games on the New 3DS platform? I think it's a little too late.... Nintendo just wants our money because their greedy.

They want to accept the Wii U as their failure, and that's why a handheld version with exclusives exists, and Smash Bros is not the only example: Hyrule Warriors Legends.

Brawl was definitely the game I felt most satisfied with. The new modes, added content, and new stages/characters all made sense for the most part. It was a time when there were actually Nintendo icons left to add, and wasn't reliant on 3rd parties or niche/obscure/not-yet-debuted characters to expand the roster. Not saying I disliked every newcomer in SSB4 just that a lot made little sense to me.
