    Is that the Conquest path? I just kept my distance from Ryoma and took out Sakura and his brother with the shiny bow and arrows instead with my Avatar...

    You don't defeat the Royal bosses, you defeat each commander of the Nohrian and Hosido side. Hope this helped.
