Little Mac mains T_T

I find it hilarious how Little Mac mains complains about them being thrown offstage 24/7 and say it takes no skills. Seriously though, if you're going to main Mac, you have to make it your priority to avoid getting grabbed and thrown offstage, since that is his weakness and of course people are going to abuse it. Stop it already! Learn to play the game.

  • Um, not hatin or anything (don't be offended), but grabbing is for wimps. Just sayin. If you were in a street fight, and some weirdo just grabbed you, wouldn't you be cheesed? HUH? HUH?!? Hasn't happened to me, cause I main Kirby (easy domination), but I don't grab; or shield, and I still kill. The shield I should probably use more, but grabbing? No. It's just cheap. CheepCheep.

  • If anybody is going to main a character with a weakness like that, then don't even main them if it's that frustrating. Either that or learn how to fight it. Offense beats grab so they need to utilize it. His really good frame data on the ground should help him not getting grabbed as well.

  • Offense beats grab! That's exactly my point! Thanks for understanding!

  • Grabbing is not cheap. In a way, Smash is built like rock, paper, scissors. Attack > Grab, Shield > Attack, and Grab > Shield. It's a fundamental part of the game. That's like saying shielding is cowardly. Also, some characters, like Cpt. Falcon and Pit, are built to get most of their damage off of grabs. Not grabbing cripples those characters.

  • Also, Shielding beats offense, so your point wasn't exactly valid. Smash 4 is like rock, paper, scissors. Attacking beats grab, Grab beats shield, and shield beats attack. You need to utilize all of those or else you're going to have a weakness.

  • @SL LOOOOOOL I exactly said that. We posted about the same time when we said it's like rock, paper, scissors.

  • Shielding isn't cowardly. That's a defense technique. Grabbing is no more than holding you by the neck. Kirbys don't have necks. Plus, it's WAAY easier to escape a weak little grab than to break a tough shield. For most, anyway. Kirby's down B is a NATURAL shield buster, so Shielders are no problem for me. I break, then bash, like a simple person.

  • You can't break shields as easily unless if your foes just holds it like a scrub. If you let it go, they can regain shield health. Unless if you have a shield breaking move, no way you're going to break them a lot the time.

  • I know shielding isn't cowardly. I was using that as an example to show why what you were saying was rediculous. Shielding isn't cowardly. Grabbing isn't cheap.

  • If you're going to main Mac... just don't.
