Is the random chance generater really random? In this shot, I'm supposed to have an 87% chance of hitting this guy twice. Because I had just saved before this move I took the chance. I missed the first attack, hit the second but now I'm going to die. So I reset and did this 4 tines in a row, missing the first shot every time. Random?

    That 87% doesn't seem random if you keep resetting that battle. Also, what attacks are you using that you can't nail him the first time? Is it possible to change your attacks after your first misfire?

    What Kevin said. Outcomes are determined before the battle is executed. So resetting the turn won't change the outcome. It's basically using an RNG to determine the hits and misses. If it's generating a number 1-100 to do so, there's still 13 numbers that it could land on that will cause you to miss. It's is kinda BS that it generated a miss on 87% :/

    You could improve you hit % by always having a teammate next to you when you attack. Maybe you already know that. In conquest, It's downright necessary. If any unit travels alone, they'll get hanged up on and killed

    That makes sense. Although I've played thru several FE titles, I've never tested it like that. He had a teammate near but there was no way I could get them both in and out without one dying if the first attack was going to miss. Oh well, got him healed up then came back to finish the job.
