It's arguable that this is the best set up for the hot bar. Why? Because: Using Pheromone (purple) grenades makes all ants go to the explosion, where you can finish them off with the rifle. the shotgun is a backup weapon in case the rifle breaks.

    the dirt is to get to the survivor via steps, tower, or bridge. The pickaxe is incase you find iron or diamond in a nearby house or fort. The stealth armor, although it provides no defense, cannot break, and allows you to get closer to ants
