    Yes. You can unlock them through bliss bonuses. Before DLC, you can only have Cats and Dogs, but w/ the DLC, yiu can have Birds and Dragons.

    Downloadable content. You can buy it at any time for 8.99 USD. But, it activates when you reach level 50, and after you beat the main story. The DLC in this game is basically extra story, and overall an extension of everything in-game.
