Sometimes, I wish the Brony fan dumb that hates the MLP:FiM IDW comics would stop saying that they aren't canon to the MLP:FiM-verse. While it's true that the show takes the most precedence in regards to what's canon and what isn't, there hasn't been an instance where the show has outright contradicted the comics. (Not to mention, the show contradicted itself several times before.)

    Besides, both Andy Price and the showrunners have pretty much said that the comics are canon unless such a blatant contradiction makes itself known. And even if one does, it would only be the issue of the comic that contains the contradiction in the first place that would go onto the Canon Discontinuity pile. Not the whole comic series.
