    I mean, it's apparent that Link is hopping on the "trash on Mario" bandwagon and hasn't played enough of the games to launch reasonable complaints. Super Paper Mario's story surpasses most (if not all) Zelda stories, not to mention that nearly all of the Mario RPGs have great stories as well, and plenty of Zelda games have less-to-equal the story of most of the 3D Mario platformers.

    Super Paper Mario is ironically one of the deeper stories that was made under a Nintendo license, considering one of the biggest inspirations for it was Count of Monte Cristo. It's not often a Mario game gets comoared with Mother 3 either.

    Do you have notifications from turned off? That's the most obvious problem. I turn them off as they're almost always just false alarms. But I'm assuming you don't.

    It's a good story. There are of course obvious character similarities that are fun to compare. Mostly when it comes to Edmond and Heidi and their SPM counterparts, Blumiere and Nastasia. Both Counts commit evil deeds with the support of people who are loyal to him because of his kindnesses.

    Yes. I can tell that this will go nowhere... But Link, if you want a Mario game with a story, try out one of the Mario RPGs. Dream Team has a fairly good story... The first Paper Mario's story was kind of lacking, but better than most platformer Mario games... And of course, SPM has one of the best stories in video games. I would reccomend more, but, to be honest, I haven't played more.
