Wait... So you're telling me that you have been guarding the sword for along time, you are attacked by someone who is trying to take the sword, I random person saves you, and she tells you that she is the chieftain's daughter. You believe her even though as soon as she says it, with out questioning her at all, and you decide to give her a legendary sword. Who even chose you to protect the sword!?!

    He doesn't give it to her but lets her touch it since that's what the shrine is for. People would pray before it and then feel it for good luck.

    He gives it to her when the blade unexpectedly comes out of its sheath which meant that the seal on the sword was broken.
