    I disagree. He's not the worst but he's close. Tons of lag, no grab range or combo throw, the worst mobility in the game, big burtbox, awful recovery and more. He hits really hard, but that fact alone doesn't compensate for those huge weaknesses by itself. I won't deny how fun he is to use against bad players though :)

    I would have to disagree to some of those. You don't need combo throw or grab range(his side B is better than normal grab anyways), his movement isn't the worst, not sure what you mean by burtbox, and his recovery is just fine(granted its no Kirby but its definitely no Little Mac)

    I disagree with your disagreements. Hurtbox, which I spelled wrong, is basically how big the character is. You don't want to be big. Ganon has the worst mobility in the game. His Side B is not a replacement for grab whatsoever. And his recovery is terrible. In my opinion, the 4th worst recovery in the game. If he's touched offstage, he will die. DK, Little Mac and Dr. Mario have worse recoveries.

    Have you ever fought a good Sheik with Ganondorf? Almost impossible to win. I'm talking about when there's no equipment or custom moves by the way. Any character is good with customization. I mostly use Ganon for fun, but not against good players.

    Yes i have, my friend who plays competitive smash for both Melee and SSB4 and one of his mains is Sheik. He is a great fighter but i have won using Ganondorf(no customs). Its a hard fight but in the end Ganondorf can still win(sometimes just barely).

    The main reason i win is the same reason Competitive Yoshi won in SSBM. We have battled tons of COM Sheiks so we know how to fight her but how many Ganondorf players do you know.

    exactly Kage if you can get the reads on someone he eats tiers for breakfast, ko percentages mean nothing to a good ganon player. did you know about the shield damage buff on his down special if you start it right over it and go down towards the center it can break shields. he's my third best character.

    Thats one of the reasons my friend had trouble. I read him like a book and destroyed his shield so many times. He was claiming hax the whole fight because no move can be that powerful, HAHAHA.

    haha thats the best i've got a friend that got pretty salty when i three stocked his dk with ganondorf, his favorite from the 64 days. the rematch was me two stocking him there was much johning that night XD

    Smash 4 is more about reads than character choices, but it's a stretch to say Ganon can be one of the best. A bad character being played by a good player is still a bad character. Ganon can't really compete at high level against Pikachu, Sheik, ZSS etc. He has too many bad matchups to be considered good.

    While it is a stretch it is still a stretch to say he can't compete with those 3 said above. He can compete when in the right hands and when against the right foe. And just because they have bad match ups doesn't mean they will lose every time(unless that player is terrible with them). Ive seen people use DK to beat Lucas and ZSS who have good match ups against DK

    Oh yeah for sure, I won't deny that the better player will usually win regardless of character. But if a skilled Ganondorf and an equally skilled Sheik fought, Sheik would win. Sheik has the speed to avoid Ganon's strong hits and she can literally beat him with needles and Fair alone. Sheik out-camps Ganon. There's nothing he can do really.

    ganondorf is played best at high levels in a more defensive style which tends to go against most players instincts. which generally consist of murder death, and kill. he requires a higher level skill than most in that you need to bait people into what you want them to do. and btw land 3 or 4 stiff attacks on shiek pikachu etc and they're dead.
