Took down the Gold Dragon. I was Level 58, so I acted cautiously and used a hit-and-run tactic by attacking with a Gold Claymore and the Xx2 Charged Attack. It took awhile, but I was able to whittle HP down low enough to finish him off.

Its in the Ancient Ruins. You have to the left path. There are three big Cacto Monsters just before it.
