RISING GYM PLAYTHROUGH JOURNAL (finale): Well, guess who beat the game? To be honest, I'm glad that I beat it so soon. I really want to try a different character challenge in ORAS. It was really fun playing as Valerie, though. I've never played the game in a way in which I can only use 3 Pokemon. It was actually refreshing.

    Check my play journal. There's an entry describing the rules. Of course, you can add NuzLocke to the mix or not use HM-only Pokemon at all. The only reason I had an HM-only pokemon was because Valerie's Pokemon cannot use most of the HMs.

    To save you some time, here are the rules: 1.Pick a Gym Leader and name your character after him/her 2.You can only use the Pokemon he/she uses. You may import 2 eggs if needed 3.You may have 1 HM-only Pokemon and 1 Fly-only Pokemon 4.Starter is acceptable until whole team is formed 5.Gift mons acceptable but cannot be used 6.Legendaries can be caught but cannot be used ( NUZLOCKE IS OPTIONAL)

    NUZLOCKE VARIATION- 1.No eggs 2.If a Pokemon faints release it or place him/her in the PC 3.No Pokemon-Amie (if applicable) 4. If you white-out TWICE, then you have to restart. You only have 2 chances before starting over.

    Sounds cool! I'm really bad at writing Locke challenges so this version is a little weak. The Rising Gym challenge is a pre-existing challenge with no Locke variation. >.< I like their names by the way. :)

    Nice. I named Tony after Tony the Talking Clock from Don't Hug Me I'm Scared, Kefka's name comes from Final Fantasy, and Quess' name was random.

    Tony is from a horror short film. And yes, you can find it on Youtube. There is a channel on Youtube devoted to Don't Hug Me I'm Scared. What's funny is that Tony (my Sylveon) is the strongest and I managed to beat the game in 3 days! lol
