I feel graphically Mega Man 7 blows the original X trilogy out of the water. Everything looking nicely detailed while not looking washed-out artistically. I can't say if it totally beats the original X trilogy music wise since I've only played & beaten the original but it certainly beats out X1. X1 felt like it had to much of the electric guitar.
