    You really shouldn't have areas where there's no way to get out because then the player needs to exit the game because there's no point in staying in it. If you create something that the player thinks is a dead end, you should have a way for them to get out because otherwise that's poor level design.

    I did it like that for a reason, it not poor level design just because u didnt like it. its meant to have one one way to go and many ways to die. dont give up. just remember ur mistakes.

    i must agree with gregg. would prefer a way to back up rather that starting over. a good maze is one in which you can retrace your steps.
