    Gaming period wouldn't exist without science. Game devs are an interesting hybrid; most games rely on an art team to create the concepts and look of the game, and then you have the programmers to make it all work. Ultimately, any arguments regarding the game not existing without one or the other are flawed and completely invalid. Truth is: it takes both.

    The Wii u wouldn't exist and we wouldn't have electricity, but you wouldn't be able to see anything in the game without art so it sort of needs both... STILL TEAM SCIENCE FTW!!!

    nintendo wouldn't have made the wii u without science so is all the consoles in perspective the squid research lab involves science if you really look at it the universe wouldn't be made without science.

    It really isn't black and white. Games are works of art created with the aid of science. This was my first Splatfest, but I felt the team choices weren't all that great on this. Art and science aren't a dichotomy to be pitted against one another. They are a symbiosis of discovery and expression that propel society, civilization, humanity forward.
