If I made a roller, I would take 3 pringles cans, superglue them together and spray paint it orange or blue. For the handle, bamboo. I've got a bunch of bamboo next ot my house. And for the ink tank, water bottle. Like you, I'd either get the shirts and gear online, or wear a white t-shirt and shoot colored water all over it.
