    Ooohhhh DON'T GET ME STARTED with how each character nearly taunts you in their own characterized way for not having an online connection to play. I've been playing nothing but single player, battle dojo, and the amiibo challenges with 1 amiibo. I just don't see how this game will have a longer staying power to gamers when the servers shut off. Just doesn't feel very Nintendo-like, in a way.

    But I will say there is a special charm to this game outside of the single player that just feels rejuvenating when you're connected online with Splatoon daily. Like there's a lively sort of environment that's more up-to-date in treating it's online environment community like a place that grows & changes periodically, if that makes any sense. Especially with these daily updates from the beginning.
