After two tries, I beat the santalune city Gym with a level 5 Pikachu and a level 14 Fennekin! I had to sacrifice my pikachu so that it's static ability paralyzed the Surskit and Piks died. But now, with one gym badge under my belt, I'm going heading to the next city, seeing what other adventures await!

    I think I'm going to name mine Vulcan. Even before I changed my name to that I thought it would be perfect for Talonflame. That also means that Pidgey isn't going to be on my team anymore. That's okay though, I'd rather have fire and flying than just flying, especially since fire is my favorite type.

    I don't know lol XD I just took a guess I still think it would be pretty cool if they added ghastly back in the beginning. Cause j have gastly in my silver game. And he helped me a lot. Especially with that normal type gym. (No posts left D': )

    Well they do have Gastly later in the game, but there isn't even a normal gym. I've never played a pokemon game before platinum(gba, gbc, gb) but my favorite game is HeartGold, just because of the amount of gameplay and legendaries.

    Yeh same. But did you know that the original gold version (the one that came out before heart gold) thy they added a ton more stuff into Pokemon gold than Pokemon heartgold. It's what my cousin was telling me about. So now I am doing a walk through of silver version.

    I found mine at a used game store. Do you have one of those stores? I asked them to save a copy for me when they get the next one in. :] it is kind of expensive though. Cause it is super rare. Like no joke. Mine was like $50 or $60

    Oh cool! I got mine for I think $30 because I did not want the pokewalker. XD But gold actually has a casino. Where you can actually buy Pokemon, and pokeballs, and berries even, and. whole bunch of other neat stuff you can't find in regular game play. And there is more but I will have to tell you tomorrow because I have to go to bed... Lol sorry

    I got HeartGold for 50 used without the Pokewalker or even a case. I could have got it cheaper online, but I don't shop online. Also, if you like dubstep, there are three that I know that are great. There's Pika Girl(in my opinion, the nightcore is better), Pokemon Dubstep Remix by Arion, and Red and Blue by AK9. If there's any other great ones you know of, please let me know.
