For those of you who don't know, Monkey Quest was an MMO developed by Nickelodeon. They shut it down a year ago because they wanted to "focus on other games". Monkey Quest was literally Nick's best game.

  • +awsome I feel ya.

  • I understand why the game closed though but it was one of my favorite games when I was younger. (Next to ROBLOX)

  • I'm still really bummed out that they didn't get to release the steampunk "Mek-Tek" tribe.

  • Now that I think about it, its entire lifespan was kind of a huge beta test. It was unfinished, and it would never BE finished.

    Yeahs0
  • But why close it for investment when you're just gonna make more bad games?

    Yeahs0
  • Exactly. Why abandon your only good game in exchange for dozens of bad ones? What they did was a bad choice and it made me really angry.

  • The same goes for Toontown, a game originally owned by Disney. A lot of people liked the game as it got bigger and bigger. Sadly, they had to close it on after theif 10th anniversary since they wanted to focus on Club Cance- I mean Club Penguin. (And cause of haxors)

  • 10th anniversary? Monkey Quest was out for THREE YEARS.

    Yeahs0
  • Now that I think about it, Disney and Nick have the same problem: They both close the only good games they have and they make or focus on bad games from that.

  • What I liked about Monkey Quest was that, unlike Club Penguin, you could actually do lots of stuff without a membership. You only needed a membership for the REALLY hard stages and the epic-looking clothing and weapons.

    Yeahs0
  • True, since on Club Penguin, you need to steal your mom's crediat card to get the over-priced membership. In fact, the only thing you could do without membership was get the dull clothes and dull igloo and dull puffles and play the dull games.
