2 years after this game releases... I FINALLY slog through the Triforce gathering quest. I'm as fashionably late as ever :P

Yeah, that kind of bugged me too. Fishing isn't exactly "TAKE MY MONEY!" content. Except when you think about it, Termina was laid out like a compass and there was a dungeon for each quadrant. If they were to add an extra dungeon that would throw things off. However, some new mini dungeons or even new masks would've been great. Or a full-fledged return to Termina would be even greater.

the 3DS remake was my first experience with the game, so i was going to buy it regardless. but with all the extra content grezzo added to oot3d, i can't help but feel slightly disappointed by mm3d.

don't let the whole i need 'violence' and dark, or gritty games, because im older. become a thing.

Being dark or violent has nothing to do with it. Have you ever played them? The world design is incredible. The art direction is rich, as I can identify deep influences of Medieval, Gothic-Victorian, and Baroque art (especially in Bloodborne). The challenge is rewarding and engaging if you can handle it. They reward exploration with far more rewards than just rupees or a heart piece. And the music

is just beautiful. There's a lot to appreciate in the games just from an artistic standpoint. However, I've grown tired of Zelda's simple combat and find the challenge the Souls games offers extremely refreshing. That's why I like them so much. I couldn't recommend them more, but I do understand that the difficulty can turn people off. Still, I've been able to handle it and find them to be

unfortunately i got very frustrated with blood borne. if they could've at least made leveling up something you could do in the pause screen i would've played through it. that and lack of story couldn't keep me interested. though nintendo, has gotten much easier it seems. as a whole this gen has not satisfied me. DLC up the wahzoo. no third party on wiiu, but at the same time not being happy with

third party games, being broken, and unoriginal. PS4 exclusives being severely limited, to many remasters. the best gen was 6th gen imo

Actually, Bloodborne has an incredibly complex story if you take the time to look into it. I appreciate the fact that they don't force the story on players by making them sit through a bunch of cinemas or unskippable text. The story and lore is there for those who want it, but they never interupt the gameplay to deliver it. But it's a really subjective and personal issue. Zelda's grown pretty

stale for me. Same sorts of puzzles and items, combat that has no oomph to it, and lackluster rewards for exploration. The Souls games give me engaging combat, epic boss counters, wonderful music, and great rewards for my exploring. I'm not trying to diss Zelda at all, Zelda's still great. But objectively speaking, the Souls games give me more of what I want. But like I said, it's a personal

i know our opinions differ, but i adore the zelda series. it's just really satisfying starting a game with nothing but a sword and a shield and by the end of the game, u have so many weapons and items to use. they also have some pretty good boss fights. just today i finished link's awakening, and despite being a top down game, the final boss was still good considering the hardware at the time.

i've yet to play the soul games (and probably never due to their high difficulty), but i've seen gameplay of them, and i do admit the bosses look really epic.
