This always bothered me. So Ganon doesn't get his wish granted simply because the king got there first? Like out of nowhere. Where was he this whole time? How did he get there? He just suddenly shows up at the last second to go "FIRST!" It feels like it detracts from the importance of Link, Zelda, and Ganon in the whole destiny thing and turns it into a last minute rivalry two old guys.
