I'm curious to what happens when another player join your game on multi-player mode?

I mean do you advance in a separate story or does it depend on who joins who's lobby? Is it like Monster Hunter to where the multi-player story is different then the main story line?

    Time gets frozen as another Player joins/the portal gets opened up. If you open it up at night, then it'll stay night time until the portal gets shut. Sleeping will only recover health/SP, but not advance time. You can't add NPCs to your party and you can't do anything to advance the plot.

    Well that's weird, so all we can do is just help others level up? I thought we would be able to go through the story and level up together. Aweee :(

    Level up, fight, take down Life Challenges, and exchange items. You can only let others into your world when you are not in the middle of Chapter too. It'd be a bit confusing if one person was on Chapter 5 and the other was on Chapter 2. Plus spoilers and all.

    I guess so. I just thought there might be a programming law in the game. Like when another player joins, the player with the higher story progression has to join the person with the lower story progression and help her/him advance first before both story's can progress together. I can see how that programming would be difficult to do though. Oh well still a good game. And thank you ^_^

    If it was a console game, I'm sure it would have wayyy more things added, but it's just a little 3DS game. And it's still fun for what it is! No problem! ^^
