This post will be a preview of a series of stages I plan to make. It is a fusion of a traditional Mario sidescroller and the overworld/dungeon setup of Zelda 1. Actually, I also got inspiration from a fellow stage designer, so a shout-out to Cranky for his fun Zelda 1 dungeons in Mario Maker! The overworld is divided into four parts. This is the field. Level 1 is down there.

    Second area is the forest. As you can tell, shrubbery abounds. Hey, what is with that door over there?

    Final area is the sky. I must admit I ran out of solid blocks by this point, so I made do with bridges and floating platforms. Oh hey, it's another dungeon! However, it's not open in this chapter. Don't worry. There's a guide who will show you where the dungeon is in each chapter. I can't show you the dungeon itself yet, but I can tell you it's modeled after Zelda 1, and there is a map room.
