Question

Why was this game delayed, when the the rest of the world got it much earlier? Also it looks like mario and luigi paper jam is going to be the same way. Delayed for no reason.

    I think they delayed Yoshi to make more Amiibo so every one can have one

    Paper Jam wasn't really delayed. It's that (so far) it' coming early for Japan and Europe, but not North America. The game was originally slated for an early 2016 release worldwide.

    As Matt said, it probably had to do with manufacturing enough Yarn Yoshi amiibos to go around. I'm actually glad it was delayed, because I've been having fun with Super Mario Maker and AC Happy Home Designer in the meantime...and there sure isn't a lot more coming out for Wii U 'till 2016 besides a board game and tennis.

    They really need to get rid of region locks, amiibo are not region lock so if it comes out early in a different region I buy it online from there. I got my yarn yoshi and Olimar both are from Japan and I have had the yarn yoshi since it came out in Japan.

    Getting the game last just means we're an important market. Lets them test the game with real players before release. Nintendo is pretty famous for missing glitches until after release. It's hard to figure glitches out so the more testing the better. Also if you can order an Amiibo you can order a game. I had the Game Boy Advance when it released in Japan back in the day.

    Okay order it on ebay I know it will take a month but if you wait it will come to you in 6 months order it on it's Japan release
