Do you 100% the level before you move on? Or do you beat the world/game then go back and collect items?

    I 100% the stages as I go through the game since I might forget a collectible location if I go back to it later.

    That's a good point. I would like to 100% everything but if I get bored or frustrated I've gotta move on. I'll move between levels but I try to 100% the world before going to the next one. I have definitely forgotten what item I was trying to get and how sometimes.
