    Not unless you really want to challenge yourself. All collectables save when you beat a stage, so there's no worry about getting everything in one go.

    Is there any reason not to? Beating a level and immediately going back to it 3 separate times to look for collectibles, instead of marching on to the next level - is what you should wonder about. Any answer is subjective and only matters to who gave it.
