Is anybody experiencing a slight problem where the hiccups in some levels? it freezes for like half a second through out the level.

    Nope, no hiccups at all, check your disc, maybe it's faulty. Retry some of your other Wii U games to make sure it isn't you Wii U console. Let me know what happens, good luck.

    Mine for instance has framerate issues in Pushmo and that is a system memory game.

    Might be your Wii U's laser and whatnot that reads the disc. They sell stuff on the Nintendo store that's meant to clean it. I don't know how it could be the disc itself when it's a new game and shouldn't have anything smudged/scratched on it.
