I just got this game! I have alot of Pokemon cards. Somewhere around 1,250. I don't really know how many I have, I haven't checked how many I have in awhile. Anyways, I just got this game and I'm excited to get to start playing Pokemon cards again. I tried the new online version, but it wasn't working correctly. So I'm excited to start playing this version!

    well if you played the tcg back when it first came out in the late 90's any strategies used then will work in this game.

    @Chris I didn't play the pokemon cards in the 90's. (I was born in 2001) But I do have some of the cards from back then.

    actually this game came out april 2001 iirc. some of the old strategies would center around base set blastoise and any pokemon that had water gun/hydro pump attacks. energy drain strategies are also very fun and useful if you haven't built up a decent card pool in game. opponents can't attack if they don't have energy.
