    I went a different road. I focused on crafting gear before going after the fountains. I made a full set of Devine Quality Valkyrie gear. I'm finding meany of the Valkyrie parts do surpass Spirit King if crafted right. However, Valkyrie is a female only gear set so males are pretty well stuck with spirit king.

    Crafting lives are the hardest to level. This is because you often need materials from other lives in order to level them cost effectively. In my opinion, it's best to start out as a combat or gathering class & save crafting for after you gained a large item supply.

    Both sets are DLC. The Spirit Kings gear (It's a fountain drop & can't be crafted) I'm noticing is commonly said to be the end game hunter gear to go for in the Orgin Island expansion. I'm of course questioning that logic for us ladys because of what I have seen with my personal gear. I will add that girls can't wear Male only Showgun gear for tanking. This was probably done to keep things fair.
