    Ok, here are the stats I altered on my gato to increase it's dive/surface don't forget to equip the mechanic try to engage from a distance learn to snipe and try to predict your opponent's evasion pattern that will help you to hit them, and above all be: patient.

    I sacrificed surface speed for extra dive/surface in case I had to duel with an opponent. and yes any sub that I use in multiplayer has the mechanic onboard. Glad I could help remember to be patient in a duel, Goodluck out there. :)
