One itty bitty nitpick: I wish the level map had more life to it; it's pretty static and may as well just be a linear progression screen. The map in Kirby's Epic Yarn evolved and changed every time you cleared a stage, making you excited to see what weird thing would happen next when you beat a level. It would have been nice to see that carried over here.
