FINALLY.

This game is fantastic so far. After "New Island", I figured Yoshi just wouldn't see great treatment again. Too many "meh" Yoshi games. Thankfully, this game feels like the true successor to the SNES classic. Lovin' it!

too many meh yoshi games??.... I remember yoshi's story to be a fun game and yoshi's island ds wasn't bad either.

I didn't care for either myself. Yoshi Story's main game mechanic of collecting fruit to complete a stage bored me even as a kid (plus I can't stand Yoshi's slippery movement in that game). DS was just meh to me. Along with New Island, I just found the level design uninspired, and new ideas that just weren't fleshed out, feeling more like shallow additions than anything noteworthy. Just my opinion
