    I've only played four Fire Emblem games so far, but the only ones that really put emphasis on the Fire Emblem itself are the ones that Marth is the main lord in. Apparantly it's not really used that much throughout the series.

    I recently played Sacred Stones (Almost beat it but my file got deleted), and I never noticed that the Fire Emblem is pretty much non existent in that game. Unless it became really important during the last 2 chapters I didn't get to play lol. I've played Shadow Dragon and Awakening and like you said, it's important in those games.

    The Fire Emblem doesn't seem to exist and the Fire Emblem in this game has a little bit of importance but not much.

    I was actually refering to Heroes of Light & Shadow rather than Awakening, which I haven't had a chance to play since I don't own a 3DS. I can see the Fire Emblem being important in that game as well though, since I believe that all three games take place on the same continent.
