    that's not the save I was looking for. that doesn't actually save WITHIN the game. It just saves a spot, but what if you lose that and you sent back to the title screen, most of your progress won't be actually saved.

    True, yet if you hit the bottom screen again you can hit load restore point and it will take you back.

    Yes, if you lose your retore point by accident, or you want to make another file the restorep point is kinda useless.

    In regular zelda games, to save, you press start & you go in your item menu or something & it asks if you want to save? Well in Link's Awakening that works differently & I want to know how to save. I've pressed many different buttons and gone in the item menu but I have yet to find the way to save. I know it exists because I've done it before, but that was a long time ago & I can't remember how.

    So that way if I want to play on another game file I don't have to worry qbout losing my game progress on my main file. There are 3 game files available after all.
