Just finished an Expert run of 100-Mario mode. Overall, the levels have more thought put in to them than the random nonsense the preschoolers fingerpaint on to their gamepads for Normal mode. Expert mode has its own problems, though. Too many instant-death at the very beginning levels. And a lot of the decent levels I got were simply way too long (which I'll now think about when making my own).
