Mary O's level are very unbalanced, two are super easy, and the one that's is called first level if crazy though, with a design like its was made by a random generation that favors a lot of enemies. Very strange, nintendo usely delivers the best balanched levels. There are very talented creators in SMM, aperently Mary O. still has to learn very much from them.
