Well, this Game came out, and I have too admit, it was hard not to play it! The Game's visuals and art style, as well as the whole "Wooly" theme definitely give it charm. As for gameplay, while it may look like a semi-sequel to Yoshi's Story, it actually plays like the games in the Yoshi's Island Series. The only difference, is there's no Baby Mario, thank goodness.

    While it does play like a Yoshi's Island Game, it appears to have adopted the Item Collection Style of Yoshi's New Island as you don't have to get everything in one shot like you did in previous Games. Amiibo support is rather limited. Using any Yoshi Amiibo gives you another Yoshi to help you, while others just give you extra looks for your Yoshi which are saved in the Amiibo Hut.

    The Mellow Mode I think is rather useless if you're trying to 100% the Game as it slows your targeting cursor, though it does let you stay in the air so long as you hold A. The mode itself would probably be better for casual Gamers who want to beat the Game, but don't care about collecting everything. Having said that, the Badge system is a nice addition that can definitely help in a pinch.

    As with the original Yoshi's Island, you can unlock special Stages in each World by collecting everything in that World's Stages. The Special Stages are very challenging, but having the right Badges equipped will definitely help. The Game's only flaw as I see it, is that it's too short if you're justing playing it to beat it, otherwise, it's an absolutely awesome platformer.
