Fun fact #28: An ancient tip to most, I'm sure, but you can use the boomerang to transform any sparks (the annoying, quick-moving, wall-hugging spheres of light enemies that can't be hurt) into a fairy! The boomerang can also defeat those flashing, skull/crossbones enemies that float around the room, but you won't get a fairy from them.
