Fun Fact! In the Japanese version of most Zeldas, the Great Spin Attack is called 大回転切り (Daikaitengiri) If you take the meanings of the individual Kanji: 大 (dai) is great, 回 (kai) is revolve, 転 (ten) is turning, and 切り (giri) is cut off. So, 大回転切り is Great Revolving, Turning Cut. Yeah... makes sense why it's just Great Spin Attack for us. But hey, it's fun to say. DAIKAITENGIRI!

    As weird as it sounds translated, I wonder how it actually sounds to someone that's native language is Japenese... I'm sure that "great spin attack" translated would sound weird to that same person...

    It probably sounds that way to them, but since they're so used it, "great revolving, turning cut" sounds as natural to them as "great spin attack" does to us. To them, it simply makes sense. But it's cool to think about!
