I honestly don't understand why broly deserves to be in tier 6. He can't be any stronger than perfect cell which makes him tier 5 right?

    Broly was strong, but he appeared before Cell. And usually the later enemies are stronger then the past ones. Goku was Super Saiyan when he beat Broly, Gohan was Super Saiyan 2 in order to beat Cell. It's likely to appeal to the fans, that or the company just loves Broly that much.

    Pretty much what I said, but in a nicer way. Lol But Goku did absorb the energy of 3 saiyans and piccolo. He wasn't just a Super saiyan, he was Super Saiyan with a massive zenkai boost. Broly is just really overrated for some reason. His origin story is really lame.
