    I like to think that Yoshi's over time realised that devouring a monkey whole was not good for their digestive systems... As a Yoshi can consume just about anything with ease, it probably just feels better to a Yoshi that they don't eat an entire monkey. :) I'm no Yoshi nor a picky eater but I wouldn't find it pleasing to eat a monkey. lol.
