So,Kamek kidnapped all the Yoshis BEFORE this adventure started,right?

And the bosses are just normal enemies untill Kamek powers them up and names them,right? So...All the Yoshis that are designed AND named after the bosses existed BEFORE the bosses themselves did!!! Did Kamek use them as inspiration or something?! Awfully convenient if he did,since he already had minions just like them!
