Let me get this straight...An entire row and a half blown on stupid Animal Crossing characters, and Nintendo still felt the need to start adding in duplicates of some of them?

    Yeah... I don't quite understand it either. Especially since I've never played an Animal Crossing game and thus have no connection with the characters, I can't help but ask why the heck they're available. I get that it has to do with amiibo compatibility, same reason why all the Smash characters are there. But... it's not like there weren't other characters they could use.

    I get the Amiibo thing. But why two of some of them? There aren't duplicates for all the Mario Party series Amiibos that were mostly the same characters in different poses. It just doesn't make any sense.

    Isabelle has two amiibo - one in her Spring outfit (amiibo card) and one in her Winter outfit (amiibo figure) I believe. Plus Isabelle is extremely popular. Keep in mind they did the same thing with Yoshi and Green Yarn Yoshi.

    So far the only amiibo that are really special are the bowser&DK skylander ones. I'm a huge AC fan but all I know is that Isabelle&Digby both come with amiibo festival (a spinoff board game) which is coming out really soon& that U cant play them game without them. The cards might have a different function than the figures do in HHD which is another AC spinoff.
