    Choose Paladin. You know how every game has a storymode, well when you choose Paladin you start the storymode. Plus you will be able to have better fighting experience, just in case you want to do any other lives in between. It's more adventure and I think if you want to buy the DLC, you have to be a lvl50 Paladin. But, you could do mercanery if you still want fight without the storymode.
