    I still don't know how to support units effectively in this game. I had two units wait adjacent of each other for about 25 turns and nothing happened. They were compatible too.

    There are different support point increases for each pair. Some, like Eliwood and Ninian, have a whopping 5 points per turn, while others, like Hector and Farina, have 1 point per turn. Some troops start with base points (Eliwood and Hector have a lot), but once the pair gets to each multiple of 80, they have a support. You can look on the FE wiki for each troop's point increase for each pair.

    Also, you're not alone. I had no idea how to do supports last round. I only found out this round that the troops have to be RIGHT next to each other.
