Finally, a Yoshi game that lives up to the original Island! It could use some remixes of the classic soundtrack, though (especially the cave and jungle themes).

    Whoa, whoa, whoa. Yoshi's New Island already lived up to it! I'd say Yoshi's Woolly World is more like a sequel to my favorite game of all time, Yoshi's Story!

    I don't have a 3DS, so I haven't played Yoshi's New Island. I'm also not a fan of Story (sorry!). Woolly World has Story's arts-and-crafts aesthetic and laid-back pace, but the gameplay veers much closer to the original Island. I'd call it a happy medium.
