    If he crits, he will hit no matter what. It's a general misconception in Fire Emblem that an enemy can't crit if they can't hit but hit doesn't affect crit at all.

    Yeah, I know. I'm saying that he has a high crit chance, but it's all for nothing if he can't even hit. Unless you're trying to say that if a crit activates, it WILL hit, regardless of hit, in which case I think that's false. Ok I'm confusing myself now.

    I just looked it up and in certain FE games (like this one) it's possible to get a crit even if you have a 0% hit chance.

    Ok that's illogical. A warrior with 1 skill and a killer axe still has somewhat of a chance to kill a swordmaster? Wut.

    It's hard to believe, but it can happen in certain FE's. Though, I'm pretty sure this can't happen in Awakening (hit is rolled before crit). But yeah, it is possible for a warrior with 1 skill with a killer axe to hit a Swordmaster (especially if that warrior has 100% crit, which is possible without cheats).

    Yeah, hit being rolled first is what I'm used to. Oh god killer axe berserkers just became a lot scarier.

    Yeah, though you'll almost never see an enemy with 0% hit land a critical because if your seeing that then your units will most likely have enough luck to reduce that crit (unless your name is Knoll), Swordmasters with max skill are the scary ones though. Every 2 points of skill is 1% crit.

    Yeah, it's a shame Lucius has such poor Luck, but he'd be WAY too over powered with good Luck, imagine all the crits. At least he has good support options.

    I dunno how effective it is considering the ice affinity, but I always support him with Raven. It just makes sense to me.

    They really help each other in terms of supports. I believe LuciusxRaven is one of the most used supports since it gives quite a bit of crit and evasion.

    I believe awakening crits are 100% chance as well, but the skills can miss. thats only based on my memory though.
