    There is a page on Nintendo's website that tells you what amiibo are compatible with what games (nintendo.com/amiibo/compatibility). Note to Miiverse Staff: This is a URL to an OFFICIAL Nintendo page. I highly doubt that it violates the Miiverse Code of Conduct.

    @bigpboy From what I recall, it is allowed as long as it does not lead to some other contact system/inappropriate site. I have placed Nintendo pages and links to news articles as well for reference. I'm fine.

    I believe Smash Bros. uses it like any other Yoshi amiibo. Keep in mind that if you have anything saved to it for Woolly World, you'll need to erase that data and format the amiibo to use it in Smash Bros. If it isn't compatable, worst case scenario is that it will tell you it isn't compatable.

    Yeah if you scan it in, you get to unlock Jay Leno as a playable character. Pretty cool

    Works in Smash like the other Yoshi amiibo. That's what I did with my Light-Blue Yarn Yoshi. However, if you saved data to it in Wooly World, you'll need to delete that data first. They also work in Mario Party 10 (Though it seems pointless), and Super Mario Maker. In SMM, it'll unlock new Yarn Yoshi skins based off of it's respective color.

    any kind of amiibo that would be in that game would work. EX: 8-bit mario works in smash, or any bowser works in mario party, only thing is since there are 3 different color yoshi in WW the other yoshi may not work or they might just be green yoshi idk. if the amiibo is something like the inklings from splatoon they wouldn't work ing any other game but splatoon or any indie game that has them.

    All amiibo work as their basic character in all games. Some just have special varients that are recognized by select games. Yarn Yoshis are always Yoshi, sometimes the yarn version Dr Mario is always Mario, sometimes Dr Mario Toon Link is always Link, sometimes Toon Link 30th Anniversary 8-bit Mario is always Mario, sometimes 30th Mario
